Our Nation's Capital

Last weekend I went to visit my brother in Washington D.C. It was very fun. I also got to see Mike S., Klatt and Matt Sherman. And my brother's girlfriend Kelly and her sister Colleen. One the first day we went to the Portrait Gallery and then we met up with Brett B. who was in town as well and we went to the spy museum. It was pretty cool. The next day we went to the national gallery and saw some sweet shit. See?
Then we went to the National Museum of American Indians!!!! IT ROCKED! Then that night we went to Mike's house and we made dinner for everyone. See?
The next day Matt (Spear), Mike and I went to Polyface Farms. It is a farm that practices old farming techniques so that there is no unnecessary input or output. It's good for the environment or something. It was cool because they let us walk anywhere we wanted and we got to see chickens, cows, piggies, two magnificent guard dogs, geese that hissed at us and the beautiful Virginia terrain. See?
The next day we went to the zoo. IT WAS SO FUN AND GREAT TO SEE LOTS AND LOTS OF ANIMALS. That night we went to a bar that has the biggest beer menu in THE WORLD! I drank all of them twice.

i lost my make-up bag a while ago and i've wanted to make a new one with my new sewing machine and steph pointed out that the fabric i used for my halloween costume was waterproof so i should make it with that. so i did. i bought myself a blue zipper and used some stick on felt that steph bought (thanks steph). sewing the zipper on was pretty confusing and i had some trial and error moments. i also fucked up the first time i cut the l out bc i cut it backwards bc i was tracing a normal L, not a mirror image one. but now im done! hooray!
